New St. Joseph Society BannerThe New St. Joseph Society is a long-standing parish organization to honor St. Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus. Founding members of the society of Sicilian descent upheld their devotion to St. Joseph, the patron saint of their towns of origin in Italy. Today all are welcome to join. The Society fosters goodwill, maintaining a common bond among its members through spiritual fellowship and varied activities for the good of the church and its society. Members are encouraged to be active participants in the society and parish community. 

Mission: 
-To uphold the concept of Christianity.
-To keep alive the spiritual attachment of the traditions of The New St. Joseph Society and the church.
-To promote charitable endeavors by rasing funds to assist the parish and its functions.

Meetings: The Third Sunday of September, November, January, February and May following the 9:30 am Mass.

The feast of St. Joseph occurs on March 19th of each year. The society sponsors an annual dinner to celebrate this feast. At this dinner the society presents a St. Joseph’s table and honors guests in the Sicilian tradition.  Once a year, the society also sponsors the blessing and distribution of St. Joseph’s bread. Small rolls are blessed and handed out to attendees at the Mass honoring the Feast of St. Joseph.

Membership Information: Membership is open to all. The society welcomes new members and shares the joy of traditions and fellowship as it honors St. Joseph, the watchful guardian of the Holy Family. Dues are $10 per year.
