Requesting Events and ISJ Facilities

Dear Parish and Organization Leaders.
In the last 4 years, there have been many changes in the world. As a parish Family, we have endured the pandemic and a shut down, the loss of a beloved pastor, and new staff and leadership. Some of these changes happened to us and some of the changes are the result of our developing vision. With these thoughts in mind, we are announcing some changes to the planning process at ISJ.
This summer, we are updating the parish policy on event requests and facility usage. All Events and Facility Usage will need to adhere to the new policy.
In the near future, the updated parish policy on holding events and using the facilities at ISJ will be available. In no way is this an attempt to limit parish or organization events. Because of limited staffing, it has become obvious that it is not always possible to support every worthwhile event.
To create a unified calendar, we are asking all parish and organizational leaders to review the attached request form. After speaking with your associated teams, we are asking that you complete the ISJ EVENT AND FACILITY REQUEST FORM for all requested activities you would like to schedule between September 1, 2024 and June 30,, 2025. These request forms must be submitted by September 15, 2024 for review. Please complete one form for each unique event. Forms may be submitted by E-mail (isjparishoffice@incarnationstjames.org), mailed through post, or delivered to the office. The parish will work with requests submitted after the deadline as open date(s), time(s), and location(s) are available. Additional request forms are available on the ISJ Website under the Parish Life section.
Please complete one form for each activity you are requesting. If you have a regularly, scheduled, recurring meetings, these may be placed on one form. Please keep to your requested time frame as other events may be happening on the same day in the same location.
What should be included? Dinners, Education Events, Fundraisers, Meetings, Social Events, Spiritual Event, Trips, and Workshops to name a few.
